Bromsgrove Remembered

Alan Foxall and Ray Saunders

Bromsgrove Remembered is a new photographic history of the town that brings to life the people and places of the past.
In selecting images from a vast archive of old postcards and photographs, the authors have uncovered a treasure trove of high-quality images covering the history of the town from the Civil War to the present day.

In these pages readers will be able to witness the changes that the nail industry and other concerns brought to the town, and the impact that both World Wars had on Bromsgrove. On a lighter note there is a chapter entitled Bromsgrove at Play, in which the town celebrations of days gone by are brought to life.

The book is sure to appeal to anyone with an interest in Bromsgrove and the surrounding area and is likely to be as successful as the authors’ previous publications, Redditch Remembered and Redditch at War.
