About the Author
BRIAN BEARD is a freelance journalist,
sports writer and broadcaster with an impressive list
of credentials. He has covered the Premiership for
Sky Sports, and has worked on the official club magazines
of Liverpool, Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers and
Leeds, among others, as well as being a regular contributor
to magazines including Four Four Two, Shoot!
and 90 Minutes. He has also done work for
the PFA website and the National Football Museum at
Preston.
