In 2000, well-known Crewe photographer Gordon Davies spent many hundreds of hours trawling through his extensive picture archive to produce his first book Memory Lane Crewe.
Within a few weeks the book had shot to the top of the local bestsellers list and delighted thousands of Crewe people who found great pleasure in delving through its pages to relive the town of yesterday.
Now Gordon has done it again with another superb volume containing around 500 images of Crewe down the years. People, places and events are recorded and this eagerly-awaited sequel will again inform and entertain. For those who remember, the book will bring the memories flooding back. For others it will show them how life used to be.
